The app the CGM companies should be making!
Sweet Dreams is fantastic. Exactly what I want my CGM app to be. Simple and customisable. It does everything I want without the things I don't want. Its a shame this app is not permitted to read directly from my sensor. But good enough. I only use the low alert on the dexcom app and Sweet Dreams for all alerts. I also have Sweet Dreams on my Mac, so I don't have to keep looking at my phone. If I am out of range, a voice comes from my computer to inform me. So good to not be looking at my phone all day. I love this app. Only criticism is the alert sounds. Either too nice or too stressful sounding. I would love to add my own custom alert sounds like I can with Dexcom. I highly recommend this app and you will too.!

Honestly best 2.99$ I’ve spent a month to keep live updates on my husbands sugar. It reads better than his app (Dexcom G7) when his sugar is reading “Low” it will read the exact number. Also app has widgets so you can have on home & lock screen with LIVE updates every 4-5 mins.. Great app!! Recommend if you have anyone who is a type 1 diabetic and need to keep track of glucose levels!

Fantastic blood sugar, tracking app
I have a stepson who uses a Dexcom to track his blood sugar (T1 diabetic). This app is so useful and doesn’t take away from the number of followers that can track him. I love that I’m able to check not only his BS numbers, but also, the trends. Additionally, it allows me to stay on top of his BS and I’m able to dose his insulin more accurately and keep him in better ranges (ultimately making his A1c better).

Allows BG level to be shown constantly on Apple Watch!
I guess you can use this app to monitor a loved one's BG but for me, the best thing about it is that it allows your BG rating to be constantly displayed on your Apple Watch!
It works with Abbott's Freestyle Libre sensors (and others). You also have to install and setup the LibreLinkUp app first.
Until the Freestyle Libre apps get Apple Watch complications this is currently the only way to get your BG displayed on your watch, and it works great!
I've been dreaming of having my BG displayed on a wristwatch for like 30 years now!
And I actually find it unlikely that Abbott will ever release an Apple Watch complication, it's too difficult to setup and even more so there's too much liability. The reading on the watch can easily get out of sync with the phone app's reading.
So until their sensors can transmit to an Apple Watch directly with Bluetooth, I don't see it happening. Which makes this app even more vital!

Best iPhone app ever!
As a type 1 whose life was immeasurably improved by Freestyle Libre sensors and app, this just proves what they could and should have included. Best additions the four alarm points with tailorable sounds and full visual on Apple CarPlay, so reassuring when on my motorbike.
What would I like? To know which direction my blood sugar is travelling by alarm sounds. To know that although I’m in the going high to high zone, when it repeats which way am I now heading, up or down. Likewise in the going low to low zone.
Also a target alarm. When I’m low and want to drive I’d like to be able to set a blood sugar has reached “5 to drive” alarm, and not to have to keep checking back to view.
But love this App, subscribed after just two days of testing, inform others all the time, only wish (for others) there was an Android version too.

I was searching for an app to show my sugar on my charging stand at night. This app handles this very well. Additionally, the app has much more to offer and keeps getting better. I love how it shows my sugar on my car dashboard with CarPlay! I love the watch integration! I love the number of points displayed when I am trending up or down! Well worth every penny- continuously impressed by this CGM app!
This is the first time I’ve ever written an app review in my 30 years of life. This is also one of the few apps that I’ve paid for a subscription cost and expect I’ll continue to do so because aside from being extremely reasonably priced, this app (and the Apple Watch app) is made by a thoughtful developer who understands what T1D and their families are looking for.
Switching to Medtronic, my time in range as a diabetic had never been better. However, it was at the expense of the advanced tech and iPhone integration of every other modern system. This app was plugged by a “diabetes influencer,” which normally I wouldn’t pay any attention to. However, I thought it was worth a shot, considering how bad Medtronic’s app was.
Flash forward to over a year later and a premium subscription. This app and the developer are constantly raising the bar with integration, functionality, and new features. When Medtronic CareLink integration has experienced issues (very rare and not related to the app), it’s always been resolved within 24 hours. In addition, the developer notifies subscribers when things are under construction, so you’re never surprised.
Extremely grateful for the critical alerts that this app provides, which have saved me from oversleeping during lows many times. (It’s insane that a major diabetes company like Medtronic doesn’t have critical alerts built into their app/Apple doesn’t force them to do so.) I’m a huge fan of the CarPlay integration and having my CGM on my nightstand while my phone is charging in standby mode. I haven’t set up alerts to family, but that’s a great feature too.
Thank you for your hard work and this excellent app. Your app makes managing T1D a little easier, which means quite a lot to the average diabetic who constantly has to remain mindful of their disease.
Give the free trial a try and you won’t be disappointed. Other apps really don’t compare when you consider the integration of this app in the Apple ecosystem. :)

I don’t really ever review things but this app is such a game changer that it deserves so much more attention. This would significantly expand the usability of your app and benefit many users in the diabetes tech community.

I use the libre 2 sensor and the app is no where near as good as this one. You have honestly solved pain points for me with the Libre sensor that has made managing my diabetes easier. The main issue, and the original reason I downloaded your app, being its integration on the Apple Watch and loud alarms.
The Apple Watch functionality has allowed me easily to manage getting back into exercise and running whilst being able to keep an eye on my glucose levels during exercising all from a glance at my wrist.
On top of that, the alarming loud alarms have woken me up in the middle of the night when the Libre’s alarms have failed to wake me up and it’s continued alarms for when my sugar continues to drop.

Like many others have said here, I have never reviewed an app - but this has changed my life so much in two days that I felt compelled to.
I was initially just looking for a way to ask Siri what my blood sugar level is - I can’t always grab my phone or pump - but Siri is always listening! Surely there must be a ‘fix’ out there?!
Using the Medtronic ecosystem, it was clear that there is zero integration with any of the tech in my expensive Apple products…
After a bit of googling, I found Sweet Dreams and decided to give it a shot.
Now with something to compare it to, I realise just how bad the Medtronic interface is…
This app has given me the power to see my levels and trends on all my screens and when I can’t get to my screen - I just ask!
The extra management tools and alerts are a bonus that I never knew I needed - having drunk the Medtronic (diet) CoolAid for so long, I’m now drinking Champagne and having Sweet Dreams!

But, I do see that they have that mentioned under their “Upcoming Features.” I would love if I were able to sync my Glooko account to my Sweet Dreams app so I can directly link my Omnipod 5 and see my IOB, basal, and boluses for the day. Truly, for $20 a year this is a wonderful addition to my support system. 対策を施してもダメで諦めデクスコムG7に変更しました、なんとスマホが無くてもAppleWatchのみで血糖値が確認取れるとの事を知りAppleWatchを購入したが日本では無理みたい…。
なのでスマホのアプリで血糖値を受信してAppleWatchに転送して表示します。
デクスコムG7のアプリでもAppleWatchに表示できるがSweet Dreamsの方が断然使いやすい！（日本語表示では無いので分からないこともあります）
日本語表示に対応よろしくおねがいします。

This really is one of the best diabetes support apps available and the developer support is second to none. Even free version is great, then I bought to get Apple Watch integration for FreeStyle Libre which was a game changer.
They have a fantastic community support group on Facebook and the two developers respond really quickly and readily take on new idea suggestions.
There are constant new innovations and improvements, including recent iPad support.
Sadly I can’t no longer use as I was moved to Omnipod 5 and Libre 2+ and that will not work with Sweat Dreams (not developers fault). Unless they can make a link to Glooko? 😊

Great App. Simple iWatch integration…responsive support
I first tried this with the trial in order to get the premium function for my Watch. The app works perfectly on the iPhone, but I had an issue where it stopped updating the I watch. I contacted Support. they asked me to send them some pictures. However, the problem did not reappear in order for me to send photographs. They responded within 24 hours and for those of us that speak English they were excellent. I highly recommend this app as it’s I have found that will go directly from Libre view into your I watch through the app on the phone. The only other solutions to sing BG involves downloading two other apps and having them connect to Libre view, and then to each other and then to your I watch. Some of the slays on the other apps look really good. The displays on this app are simple, but give the information that one needs.

I have an Apple Watch, and have always wanted to be able to glance at it and see my blood glucose. The Freestyle Libre system is great but doesn’t offer that functionality. Sweet Dreams solves that issue with a great app!
I had a question and asked the developer via a message for assistance. Marwan responded very quickly and I was set.
If you’re a Type 1 diabetic like me, this app is incredible. I now get warnings with rapid trends up/down - which as a T1 is just as important as getting alerts about being high/low.
This app has already helped me flatten out some of the spikes in my blood glucose levels. I’m incredibly grateful for what it gives me and how much it simplifies my diabetes management. Thank you Marwan!

I find this app very helpful and have the following feature requests:
1) There should be an option to automatically remove old notifications. I often take a beat when I see old notifications from a day ago on my iPhone and Mac. GlucoseDirect does this.
2) Apple might be difficult about this but it would be hugely preferable if the app had the critical alert entitlement. I would like to keep my phone muted but still receive Sweet Dreams notifications when I sleep, especially since Sweet Dreams will keep notifying me but the Libre app will only notify you once.
3) It should be possible to have every minute updates without emailing the developer, the current flow is particularly awkward if you don’t have the Mail app installed.

Seems to be a really good app, but I like more features such as for the app to be able to speak to blood sugars without me being in the app and my phone being unlocked I did go for the year subscription because it made more sense to go for the year then the 299 monthly subscription because it works out way more when you look at it when you spending that each month you spending a lot more than you going for the yearly subscription, it’s a great price for the year hopefully it doesn’t go up any more next year if it doesn’t, I will definitely be carrying on with this app

The data is current, the watch interface is large and easy to read and the dynamic Island placement is what we always needed. The Lock Screen design is genius. We can’t thank you enough.
I was worried there would be battery drain with the Dynamic Island. None!
The only request would be for a nightstand mode. Something that when this app is on the charger in horizontal mode, it displays BG with a trend/delta (and possibly time) in BIG font.

Bummer. This app looked really interesting and far more integrated with the Apple ecosystem than Dexcom’s standard apps. Sadly, it seems Dexcom is preventing data from Stelo to flow to this app rendering it useless. I guess it’s one of the restrictions with using the Dexcom Stelo OTC sensors.

Super useful and keeps getting better
I’ve got a Libre 3 CGM, and was frustrated their app doesn’t have a watch widget, and thought saving to Apple Health would be kinda useful.
Sweet Dreams does all that very nicely. I also use the phone lockscreen widgets and live activity to keep my blood glucose info on screen all the time. ’ve also come to prefer Sweet Dreams’ notifications for most things over the Libre app’s notifications. It just overall gives me more access to my own blood glucose information, and more control over notifications.
The developer continues to improve the app, and is very helpful whenever there’s been any problems.
I highly recommend Sweet Dreams to anyone that wears a glucose monitor or helps someone that does.

This app is fantastic and pretty much does everything a CGM user would want their native CGM app to do. This app is still evolving and gets better and better with each update. The developers must be working overtime! Sweet Dreams puts my mind at ease and has become my go-to companion app for my Libre 3 CGM. Until I found this app, I was strongly considering going to a different CGM because the functionality and user interface of the Libre 3 app is so poor. The only difficulty I’ve had with Sweet Dreams was understanding what I had to do in order to begin using the app. The setup instructions work very well if you understand what they are instructing a user to do. Thankfully Sweet Dreams provides great support for and anyone can be up and running this app within minutes.

The people who developed this app really genuinely care about people with diabetes. I had a small problem that was dealt with extremely professionally and went well beyond what I was expecting.
I really do feel that any suggestions or cries for help or read and dealt with immediately.
The app is very clever. I’m quite new to it at this moment in time but I love the fact that you can get very loud warning signs if your blood sugar goes too high or too low and you can even set that in stages so when it starts to go too high or too low and then a different alarm when you are too high or too low, I’m going to set it up so my wife also receives this information. One of the big things that I love about this app is been able to send a very quick notification that I am aware of the problem and I am dealing with it without her having to ring me up. At the moment I’m using the libre 2reader, but I will certainly be setting up on my phone to have live readings all the time and to be able to have this on a lot screen is a real big plus
I really cannot recommend this enough, and I think all diabetics should have this app on their phone

Just a suggestion for the timer in the dynamic island on the iPhone… I’d consider removing the animation of the timer Text if possible aa it has a “flashing” effect with each second. Compare it to Apple native timer which just flips to the next second, no delay or animation happens. Also sometimes the timer is being clipped… This is on an iPhone 15.

Switching from Dexcom 7 to the more stable Libre 3 is a big improvement, but I missed the watch app. This app solves that. Installed easily, works well. Stumbled upon this app in the last few days and have found it to be a terrific improvement for us to remain apprised of our young son’s BG. We appreciate the thoughtfulness that has gone into this app with its granular controls over alerts and the Live Activity feature for our phones.
I will say the Message Group feature looks really promising but I do not know how to make it work. I created a profile for my wife with a unique username paired with the Podder Central login credentials but she is not receiving any Pings or Test alerts after I press the Message Group button, and vice-versa. I don’t have a Twitter account so I cannot more directly access the support team. However other reviews indicate that support response is very quick so I will stand by for contact.

The app itself is extremely well written. The data is not only solid based on the integrations but the developer also explains why certain things are the way they are (example: update frequency on the Lock Screen is 5 minutes, apple watch is X, etc).
I was having issues getting the app to work with my watch (don’t worry, it was my fault) and literally the response time from support was less than 30 seconds. Within 30 minutes it was diagnosed and fixed. I honestly can’t give them enough credit.

Best sugar tracking app ever
I have been using the Libre sensors to monitor my diabetes for several years. The Libre 3 opened up a lot of possibilities. However, the Libre 3 app honestly needs a lot of improvements. Using this application along with the Libre 3 app has allowed me to take better control of my diabetes. I wrote to the developer of this application just over a week ago regarding an accessibility feature and the feature was added in today’s release. That is incredible and you don’t see that with mini app developers. Keep up the great work.

Great for live updates of CGM readings
This app fills many of the data reporting gaps when using the Libre 3 app, which requires you to unlock your phone and go into the app to get a current reading. Among other things, Sweet Dreams provides:
• periodic updates without opening the Libre app every 5-10 minutes
• on the Lock Screen
• in the Dynamic Island
• on your Apple Watch, in the app and as a complication
• on a calendar event
• using Car Play
• easy access to graphing on the phone and watch
• data sync with Apple Health
I understand that Libre is functioning as a medical device, and critical treatment decisions (getting insulin, etc) require a very high degree of reliability, so Libre can’t provide all these functions by itself. Sweet Dreams works with Libre to extend the CGM readings to many more situations, and makes the CGM much more useful for immediate feedback of your activity and diet. I’m extremely pleased with the added functionality.

Sweet Dreams makes Libre as usable as Dexcom!
Sweet Dreams is such a great app!
Privacy-wise, the data it gathers from your phone is reasonable. (Some apps are just about data mining your phone - this isn't that.)
1) It lets you see your blood sugar at a glance! On your iPhone Lock Screen, on the Home Screen, and on Apple Watch. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have the kind of real-time data about my diabetes that Dexcom always had but Libre doesn't have. (Abbott, come on, the way you let us interact with our own data is terrible.)
2) Seeing glucose on the watch is a feature I've missed SO MUCH since switching from Dexcom to Libre. It was such a core part of my diabetes management, and I've struggled without it.
3) Sweet Dreams writes data to Apple Health! I'm so happy about that. Dexcom does that but Libre doesn't. This means that I don't lose my historical data if I delete my Libre account or switch to a new product, and that I can analyze my data in other apps. (Apple Health itself, but also other apps that it can connect to.)
4) Sweet Dreams shows my historical blood sugar when I click a spot on the graph. Dexcom does that, but bizarrely Libre doesn't. Being able to see my exact past blood glucose is important around hypo lows.
5) The wonderful iPhone Shortcuts the developers created, and explained step-by-step in the app. (Settings > Integrations > Shortcuts) I had never used the Shortcuts program before, and you made it so very easy.
6) The great support on the Sweet Dreams Facebook group.

Thank you guys so much, my god. Being able to see my Dexcom values on my Lock Screen is literally a game changer (I always forget to check as much as I should). AFAIK this is the only app that lets you do this as a Live Activity. I love you, devs! <3

Couldn’t ask for a better app
I use the app for my libre 3, and it gives me dexcom vibes, but so much better! I love the app, and it makes my day a lot easier - I don’t have to constantly open the app to see my glucose, and now there’s an Apple Watch app so I can check it on my watch too! Great app for us Diabetics
A great app guys. I know how much work goes into this as was involved in getting a home heating app developed and to market a few years back. I did try using Nightscout and Nightguard, they are nearly there, but not as neat as this app. A huge enhancement to my diabetes control.

Dynamic island was made for this
I cant imagine any other app taking such good advantage of the dynamic island as this one. Being able to see my glucose from any app on my phone at a glance is a game changer for my control. App is slick and stable. Dev support seems great and continually adding features. Not sure of roadmap, but nightscout support with IOB/COB for live activities would just be the cherry on top.

This has helped me more than I can even say!
I was diagnosed with autoimmune diabetes a few months ago and everything has been incredibly overwhelming for me. My Libre 3 and this app have been an absolute godsend for me, and it has made a stressful, scary, and overwhelming situation much more manageable. No more 24/7 finger sticks or having to deal with the very limited and often-buggy Libre 3 app. Now I can just focus on getting my blood sugar under control, and I have my live readings (and notifications) available 24/7 to help with this process. The customizable alarms are fantastic as well. The app alerts me when my BG is too high, and even more importantly, it alerts me when it drops way too low at night. Thank you for this life changing app!!!!!
