How to connect Dexcom to Sweet Dreams

Already have a follower in Dexcom Follow? Skip to the last step.

  1. Open the Dexcom app and tap the Share icon to turn on Dexcom Share.
  2. Invite at least one follower. Your own email address works. Dexcom doesn't send readings to its servers unless someone follows you, so this step is required even if you only want to see your own data.
  3. In the follower settings, make sure the follower can see your trend graph.
  4. Accept the invitation in the Dexcom Follow app. Download it first if you don't have it.
  5. In Sweet Dreams, choose Dexcom and sign in with the wearer's Dexcom account, not the Dexcom Follow account.

Common questions

Does Sweet Dreams work with Dexcom ONE or Stelo?

No. Neither uploads readings to Dexcom Share, which is where Sweet Dreams reads them from. Dexcom ONE+ is supported.

Why do I need a follower if I only want to see my own readings?

Dexcom only sends readings to its servers when Share has at least one follower. Inviting yourself counts.

Do I sign in with Dexcom or Dexcom Follow?

Dexcom: the sensor wearer's own account. Dexcom Follow logins won't work in Sweet Dreams.
