Step 1: Connect Dexcom to Sweet Dreams
Already have a follower in Dexcom Follow? Skip to the last step.
- Open the Dexcom app and tap the Share icon to turn on Dexcom Share.
- Invite at least one follower. Your own email address works. Dexcom doesn't send readings to its servers unless someone follows you, so this step is required even if you only want to see your own data.
- In the follower settings, make sure the follower can see your trend graph.
- Accept the invitation in the Dexcom Follow app. Download it first if you don't have it.
- In Sweet Dreams, choose Dexcom and sign in with the wearer's Dexcom account, not the Dexcom Follow account.
Step 2: Set up Apple Health
- Go to Settings → Apple Health in Sweet Dreams.
- Turn on Write to Apple Health and allow write access for Blood Glucose when asked.
- Turn on Read from Apple Health too if you want the Stats tab, which is built from your Health data.

Good to know for Dexcom
- Readings sync when you open Sweet Dreams, and every hour in the background.
- If readings aren't arriving in Health, open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Sweet Dreams and allow write access for Blood Glucose.
